Getting Bark From Blocks

I don't think I've seen this idea, but it does seem like something that can be done.

We should be able to take an axe to a block of wood and shave off a piece of bark. Doesn't affect the pallette when building, but gives you that extra piece of quality bark. It can be softcapped by your survival/carpentry and hardcapped by the quality of the tool.

Another method is that you can get a piece of bark when you split a block of wood into sticks. Same limits as the first.
