It's a pipe dream we'd get any gear/weapons to close that gap on missing items; but, I could see the stats at q10 leaning towards:

Ac: 10/8
+ 2 Agi
+ 3 Ua

why you would want to have leg armor made from a bug when we don't even have any other actual reasonable leg armor like bronze greaves is beyond me

There is clearly a gap between Bone and Plate, adding in something to pair with Cutthroat Cuirass would be nicer. I would rather see some flavored item over another generic smithing capped anvil & hammered bronze codpiece.

I mean, they could also be made of leather. Funny enough your idea for 'cuisses' is closer to a 'codpiece' than what I suggest

If we were to drop Borewore hide for nuggets of bronze, I could see the whole item as a: Splinted Cuisses
