Multi-language, when?

Nobody likes english, we are forced to use it, and that annoys a lot of people.
When will Seatribe build tools for translators to convert that insipid english to the tongue of their native ancestors?

Using a function on text with AI translation could be a quick-win as the startup nations like to say, but then, an open-sourced repository with decent managers would be awesome.

I'm sure there are already clients that allow translation, if not you are welcome to build one also

I won't build a client but I'll gladly work on translations for spanish and french.
Also I believe that this shouldn't be custom client related. Most games provide translations. H&H aims for steam, some basic translation mechanics should be on the roadmap for the main client imho. Especially with that community who'll gladly apply to make it work. We just need the mechanics.

Ender's client already has French, but not spanish I think.

You should probably want to get in contact with Ender when you have done the translations

I'm sorry and I love you mate.
But I'm not asking for a custom client or mods.
I'm asking Seatribe to translate this awesome game to all languages.
I love Ender client, but that's off-topic. H&H should aim for a native multi-language, and when Loftar provides the mechanics, he'll find an army of benevolent translators.

I can't count the padawans who won't play the game because they don't know the words.
Give us our tongue Loftar.

There's no unified paradigm to export/import localization in a tabulated format, but, yes, in principle I of course agree that the game should ideally be authoritatively written in glorious Swedish, and localized to the lower languages.

I see eye to eye with the topic starter.
Dear jorb and loftar may you want to add into native client something like I18N, L10N or G11N ?
The idea looks like:
Client after start look for files like "lang_fr" - french, "lang_sp" - spanish, "lang_ua" - ukranian etc. and build select list from existing languages.
Format of these files can be CSV or json or any other with simple text, for example [variable] = [value].
If value for some variable not found - use english for this variable.
I'm sure that some enthusiasts and volunteers like me and topic starter and other members of community will work on this files.
As result - native client will became a multilingual.
