Adjustable permissions within personal claim area

Postby XBBW » Sun Nov 10, 2024 2:34 am

Would be cool if we could could adjust the radius within claim from outside/edges of the claim going inwards what is being allowed and what isn't, rather than allowing everything and not just for certain things, like not just trespassing, but other stuff like for trade, but also enjoy the benefits of stuff not decaying within claim.
So we could toggle either all of those apply to all of claim area or have from edges of the claim going towards the center of the claim area and choose which "crimes" you want to make it okay and which not, since now it applies all of claim area and I think it's better having going inwards like a reverse ripple effect. So sellect which permissions you want to allow and how far do they go towards the claim as I am sure this would help with trading and keeping the stuff you want protected, well protected and also doing trades and such enjoying the benefits of claim protection from the decay.
So as you can see in the example given, imagine that all of that claim is active and I selected trespassing and thieft to be allowed right the center of the claim and anything past that point they can't trespass any closer.

Random stuff meshed together, anyway this claim idea, yay or nay. Because right now when checked for permisions it's all of the claim and not certain area of the claim. Since I don't want to make it too complicated, just have it sellect from edges of the claim going inwards and choose how far they can do those permisions until you feel safe to that certain point of the claim, like stuff that needs most protection, but also claim area that wide can be a dick move not allowing trespass, which this should solve. While also other benefits mentioned. Downside I guess players need to be close to the personal claim statue to use it, so it could be changed to survey land post so as long the player is within claim/current claim purchased area they can adjust it however they like.

Yea, but that's for village claims not personal claims, most hermits like myself would maximum claim radius of a minimap, well fully zoomed in minimap, maybe a bit more. Hence why it would be handy to have such feature for personal claims too when they cover so much land.

While I understand that, village idols are very doable for a hermit. It also gives more protections than a claim.

If you want nice things, you need to put in the resources to get them.

True, but it's still a shame that field cairn can't be used on/within personal claim.

Village idols are better, when you start to enter the mine you will end up having to have a bunch of bonds that take up space on the study report. and village idols are way easier to expand for the cost of mats over dumping a crap ton of LP into expansion, and they really don't cost that much to keep up.

But I am not talking about expansion, I am suggesting adjustable permisions within existing claimed area.
