important chat "bug" or overlook

While chatting, if we get an event, the cursor moves out of chat and if you were typing, you instead start hitting keybinds, making VERY dangerous stuff. Please fix that, when chatting i don't want to use keybinds as mistake.

i would kill for the ability to turn off keybinds entirely because i never use them for this reason, the only keys i touch when playing this game are 1-10 and shift/ctrl/space/tab, everything else i do with my mouse.

(I know we're talking about default, but there are several custom clients that allow this)
