Is there a reason why Roe Venison doesn't work as "Raw Venison" in recipes such as the Delicious Deer Dog? Seems like an oversight to me.
I figured the DDD would take "Any Raw Venison" not only the generic sounding one from Red Deer.
Perhaps we should lump Reindeer Venison, Roe Deer Venison, and Venison into the same category of food.
Or at least change Raw Venison to Raw Red Deer Venison to make it seem less ambiguous.
