Food Diversity

So there is bread, yes, and sausage (and nuts but NO nut butter? Hazelnut spread? I know chocolate would be a pain to actually harvest (the irl drying time, from what I remember, is like a year for cocoa beans) but smushing nuts to make nut butter would be pretty sweet.) but no sandwiches? No roast meat and leafy green and bread recipes? Or, from what I can tell, any sort of soups. Not even stone soup! A travesty, when there are all of these ingredients but not any recipes for such ancient things. Like acorn flour! (there's no rice-- probably due to lack of rice fields-- so there's also a staple grain missing for half of the irl planet, which means no congee. ;C) Also no noodles? No noodles hanging up on drying racks? Not even a base dough recipe? There are figs, but no fig cakes. No Pemmican. No trail-cake! No hard tack either. And again, I mourn the lack of soups. and tomatoes-- theyre my favorite food. Nettle soup is also missing! Soybeans, my beloved.

The fact you can't milk horses is also kind of weird. I mean, you can in real life-- that's how they make Kumis, fermenting mare milk.

(can you tell I mostly play survival games for the cooking/food mechanic? lmao. Haven and Hearth's is the best I've seen so far since Shroud of the Avatar, honestly, but I also believe that if you're not complaining about SOMETHING in life you're a liar.)

Sandwiches would be anachronistic. But tomatoes, potatoes, and corn would be nice. We have oranges and lemons, why not orange juice and lemonade. We have cacao but no chocolate. But this game seems geared more towards combat than rpg, so we make do with what we have.
