With how annoying it is to figure out where warflags are placed and get the correct timing and wait till the bashable window etc, it feels a bit unrewarding that you do all that to get nothing. Kingdom is meant to encourage fighting but nobody fights they just sort of brute force their way to spreading.

If the warflag dropped the materials required to make the warflag then it would be a small reward to make it actually worth bothering to engage with the mechanic against kingdoms who dont want to fight for their expansions.

Ive given up expecting ppl to pvp but we should at least get an incentive to go to engage with the content.

I think devs expected this bash window to be something where ppl turn up to defend and attack but in reality theres not much incentive for anybody to bother with either of those things

Bashing window was 7-8 am utc time. Who the fuck gonna wake up to have a take aim circle fight at this time in dead game where 80% players who could be "potential" pvpers don't even buy rage

That makes sense. The materials (except for steel) aren’t worth much, though. Maybe the flag could also drop a couple of decent curios upon destruction.

Low ql steel is not that bad. Im asking for the smallest possible incentive because this forum is full of angry spruces who will brigade any kingdom related topic crying it's unfair or something.

For many worlds now nobody actually cares to stop other people expanding because the whole thing is just a tedious nightmare and it became even more so this world because you can't even travel more than a couple of thingwalls anymore.

I wish devs would spend even 10 minutes thinking about how to make this mechanic actually worth engaging with

+1 to the material drop. Also it should require precious metals or silk, to be a better incentive.

More in general, Realms should be completely reworked.
Right now, nobody except realm owners really care or interact with realms.

Take any village that doesn't own their own realm.
One day their region is claimed by a realm. Do they care who it is? Not really.
At best they get some free random bonuses, at worse they don't get anything new.
Some time goes by, and a new realm conquers the area. If they are lucky, they get better bonuses from it. If not, they get worse ones; it sucks, but it was free stuff to begin with, so it was nice while it lasted but not worth fighting over.

We need a system to make villages an important and active part of realms.

pvp should give rewards
there should also be a bigger material sink for silk, steel and precious metals to reduce inflation endgame
maybe add those to warflags too
