Add delay to "clean out" option on garden pots

Postby Barbamaus » Sun Jan 18, 2026 6:25 pm

Removing a plant from a garden pot should take a little bit of time, which allows players to stop if they are doing it by mistake. Even a second or two would be enough.

Too often when I'm harvesting plants there's 1 or 2 that aren't ready yet and end up removed instead of harvested. Worst of all, sometimes happens while doing garden credo quests like "Harvest 40 Strawberries", and despite planting them all at the same time, you end up with 38 ready and mistakenly remove one of the last two.

Please add a short delay.

I don't remember ever intentionally cleaning out a Garden Pot, +1

+1. Same should also be done with treeplanter's pots.

But for now, custom clients can somewhat avoid this issue by adding "Pick" to the automatically-selected flower menu items(in ender it's options - general - right side type "Pick" without quotes and click add).

Agreed. I'd also like the option to add all 4 dirts to a tree pot directly from a dirt stockpile, to reduce clicks.
Howdy!

Try using shift right click to auto harvest your garden pots. You don't have to interact with menus at all.

I don't really think the game should be made more tedious on account of user error.

Auto harvest is awful if you're doing gardener credo. I don't want to harvest multiple pots by mistake just because they are stacked next to each other.

I don't see how this change would make the game "more tedious". How often do you clean out pots? Since it has been a feature I've done it once -on purpose- cause I put the wrong dirt in it. That's it. Adding 1 second to it won't make it harder for anyone, and might save someone days or weeks of wait for a misclick.

No-brainer. Will fix.

Anytime I have a quality upgrade, which is more often then I fail credos by accidently cleaning out garden pots.
