1.Almonds: You know what's gonna come now. Grind almonds into Marzipan. That's just how it is. Nobody is going to make almond milk out of it. Nobody drinks that stuff. But marzipan is classic.
2. Dandelions: This flower is very neato in the real world. I pick them up, throw them into boiling water, the nectar comes out and you boil the liquid down with added sugar to turn it into a very honey-like substance.
Pour it into a jar, seal it and done. There you go, free honey. Now the question is, why can I not boil dandelions in the game to get honeyish subtance from?
3. Königskerze: This plant is ridiculous. You see it grow almost everywhere.
3.1 It yields leaves which are so sweet that you don't even need any sweeteners for any tea you make with it.
3.2 The stalk that erects upward is quite the potent tinder for firemaking.
3.3 And the seeds of the plant if grinded can stun fish, such that they simply drift to the surface to pick them up by hand.
4. The hazelnut/Hexenstrauch: These nuts are special among nuts. They are strongly associated with lust, fertility and life, not much unlike rabbits. The story of Cinderella is tied to hazelnuts one way or another due to the meaning these nuts hold. On the surface of the story's interpretation, the humble girl merely wishes for nothing but a hazelnut branch as a symbolic gesture, while her relatives wish for all kinds of material riches, whereas the branch she ends up getting is none other than the hazel branch, meaning the one not obsessesed with material wealth ends up instead with the gift of life.
I think it would be very fitting if hazel branches would thus set themselves apart from regular branches that we currently have in the game.
4.1 Hazel branches should be unique and be the only branches that can be turned into the dowsing rod.
4.2 Hazelnut oil pressed from hazelnuts to brew an aphrodisiac drink for feasting.
4.3 Picking hazel branches should have a chance for a curiosity variant branch that can also be placed on a grave for a minor exp gain (base of 5 exp at q10 branches)
