var = rotate fences and gates

Idea: The ability to rotate fences and gates.

Profit: The ability to build fences and gates at an angle greatly diversifies the types of bases and opens up creative possibilities.

Problem: All buildings can be moved and rotated with 1 mm accuracy, except for fences. This, in turn, makes rotating buildings and structures near a fence pointless. I'll place the structures in a diamond or triangle shape, but the fence around them will need to be built in a square.
Thanks for the feature to build a fence corner from another corner! It can be used to create "curved" triangular, diamond-shaped, and other fences. But only with large columns, and it's not the same as a straight fence (and it's expensive, although that's not a big problem).

Therefore, almost all bases and layouts in the game are square.
(Inside the palisade, I often use trellises instead of fences, as they can be rotated as needed + you can plant something useful.)

Realization:

A "simple" option.
The ability to build fences and gates with a rotation increment of 45% instead of the current 90%.

Excellent option.
Allows the fence to be built at any angle:
- The corner posts can be rotated.
- The first section of the fence extension can be rotated relative to the corner post to which it is attached.
- The fence covering the corner is attached strictly perpendicular to the "small" fence.
- The gate construction remains unchanged—perpendicular to the corner post. However, given the ability to rotate the corner post, the gate can also be placed at any angle.

The ideal option.
Make the corner section and extension as separate structures (the gate is still attached to the corner posts). With the capabilities of other structures, they can be rotated and moved as needed.
Construction cost is an issue. Reduce the cost of the corner posts and increase the price of the fence "extensions."
For a palisade example:
- Reduce the cost of building the corner posts to 30, but add 2 ropes (to secure them at the top and bottom) and 2 hides (to prevent rot from the bottom; 2 because the post is large). No glue is needed – it'll just hang on by its own weight. If desired, you can use 1 glue.
- Increase the cost of the "extension," the fence itself, from 3 logs to 3 logs, 1 rope, 1 hide. This will allow you to avoid spamming fences, it won't be so expensive, and it will give you the opportunity for variety: build embrasures for shooters, ring-shaped bases like ancient villages, make "smooth" fences - everything will depend only on your imagination.
