I've been contemplating, and here's what's new.
Consider replacing the final tier unlock of the "Wandering Sage" credo with the "Ability to create Sagely Dreams." This process will begin with the usage of a newly acquired hearth magic called "Sagely Preparation," which will start a quest (this can contain tasks similar to regular WS credo quests, or not; just don’t make it overly cancerous complicated).
Upon the completion of the quest, the Sage can go to sleep, which will spend half of their current experience points to create the Sagely Dream (which can then be used by anyone else to acquire that experience). There can be a small experience point penalty for the creation of the dream itself, as well as for its usage (with a slightly larger penalty for non-Sage individuals).
This will be useful for a number of reasons:
1. Sages can pool their experience points together for big well q upgrades.
2. Sages can provide their villagers with experience points for various magic (tailor for gilding song, miner for mining song, etc.).
3. Sages can graciously give experience points to the poor souls that can't afford things like "Polish the Silver" and "Raw Hide!" or simply for the purpose of studying curios.
