Add fruit in syrup!
Just like you can put a cucumber in a jar and pour brine over it, you should also be able to put fruit or berries into a jar and cover them with a sweetener. Fruit in syrup can be used in the same recipes as regular fruit, but provides slightly better benefits.
Also add a "spoiled produce" item — an object that appears in the jar after a certain amount of time (for example, one day) if an item meant for pickling is covered with sweetener, or vice versa.
