Log inspection

It would be great if the log inspection showed not only the quality but also the type of wood. I have a lot of felled logs, but when I need to build with a certain type of wood, I have to find a whole tree and cut it down, even though it could be among the logs.

As far as I know, Ender has such a feature. It has its own "inspector" that, when you hover over an object, displays a tooltip with information about it.

I'd like this feature on many objects. For example, on cabinets. So that it would show what materials they're made of. Like food.
Although you could use a construction kit or try to find out what kind of wood was used for construction.

Isn't holding shift+ctrl hovering over objects shows their resource address a default client feature?

Thank you, this really works. I still wish it was integrated into the game.
