Guilt concept with new eviction system

This is assuming evicting non-rage characters is implemented or “forcing someone without rage to their hearthfire is implemented”.

Add a new stat called something that relates to guilt or shame or infamy. I’ll be referring to it as “guilt” in this post.

Instead of evicting only being an option on people without rage - make it an option for everyone. If someone is attempted to be evicted by another player the player that is the target has the option to refuse or fight the eviction - which on refusal will start combat (this has a short timer and can be set as a default option by players preference) . If this combat is started then the “guilt” stat for either combatant is not affected by any outcome of the resulting fight.

Now moving on to how the stat is changed. If someone starts a fight without attempting to evict then “guilt” will possibly be changed when the fight ends. The amount of “guilt” that is added to the initiator of the fight will scale with the delta of the combat stats of the target. It could be 0 if the combat stats are similar or for some reason the target is of higher stats. The person that combat is started on will not have any “guilt” adjustment no matter the outcome.

The only way “guilt” lowers is by time. Could also add a path of returning the body to the victim and/or other methods such as having an option for the victim to “forgive” the assailant.

Now for the part about why you don’t want “guilt”. Higher “guilt” could hurt combat stats. Higher “guilt” could make sieging the guilty easier or quicker. Higher “guilt” could make scents last longer. Higher “guilt” could make nidbanes scale. Could even lower the amount of lp or exp the character gets.

Some other additions to the eviction idea.
* Characters that can evict must have rage
* Both Characters hearthfires cannot be on same vclaim or pclaim
* Should apply travel weariness to evicted
* Character that was evicted should drop all items in inventory and lifted objects should be left behind. Any stolen items equipped or in belt or other non-main inventory should drop as well. Other equipment should be go with the evicted. If a player
* Evicted players combat skills (other than strength) should be nerfed for some time.
* Evictions should leave scents that can be tracked.
