suggestion: make rage baseline ability and this one thing

jump the fence: its cheap and early game available. like 3000 lp. It goes like this: "this skill makes you able to cross palisade gates when you are attacked by an animal."
make rage baseline and available for all from start. if this is a pvp game, access to pvp shouldnt cost 50k lp.
lets bash and tear each other apart. but for the love of god let me run away from that ice bear.

There's a reasons for it to be gated for a few days, and I really wish it remains that way.
Let me also remind you that you can attack anyone on your claim without any offensive skills.

Rage used to cost 30k for the longest time. Changing it to 50k wasn't that good of an idea imho. The "sweaty tryhards" would grind it very fast anyway, while more casual players are blocked from even attempting to form a Hobo Militia to try and defend themselves.

I personally would change Rage cost to be as low as 10k and move the 40k cost to skills like Theft and Vandalism. Some concussion is actually a small nuisance compared to getting stripped naked, your study screen emptied, and your hovel razed to the ground.

One possibility with how the skills would need to be unlocked in order: Trespassing 10k, Rage 10k, Theft 100k, Vandalism 100k

(Currently Rage is a completely separate branch, Trespassing is 25k while Theft/Vandalism are both 50k)
(Would have balance implications for however the "Ragehide" thing is going to work - imho there should not be permanent or at least ever-present debuff from buying Rage.)

if this is a pvp game

It isn't. This game is PvE first. Those who care about PvP are a tiny but loud minority. If we had statistics on that, I bet, over 90% of all characters ever created have not once been in PvP combat.

it is.

Anyway, I really hope one of these experimental worlds does this, everyone has rage and remove walls. or at least make it super easy for anyone to siege. blood for the blood god.

ill add to this further and remove stats comparisons between players let it purely be gear diff.

I too would love to see a world where we are born with rage.
People are too afraid to experiment in experimental worlds.
