Decals Improvement

Was moving my shit to a freshly built stonestead and figured I'd create a semblance of order via decals on the cupboards.

Since it's a temporary house before the GH, and since space is limited, I decided to make a bunch of general storage cupboards for all kinds of meat and curios instead of making a cupboard for each type of meat or using more specialized curio storage.

Naturally, I would prefer to have the option of painting some sort of "generic" meat decal for that, or an "insect" decal for a cupboard containing dragonflies, water striders, and other insects.

Last world, I really wanted a specialized decal for the First Aid cupboard. As you can see, there are plenty of examples of why this would be a welcome addition, and I'm sure the rest of the inventory-management freaks will be glad to see it.

At the very least, please allow us to paint skill and crafting menu icons as decals.

on the topic of decals i really wish we could make reed parchment or something so i can organize stuff early game without sacrificing precious hides

Paper is a thin nonwoven material traditionally made from a combination of milled plant and other textile fibres. The first paper-like plant-based writing sheet was papyrus in Egypt, but the first true papermaking process was documented in China ...

Would definitely need to be able to use Quern for that. Instead of only windmill.

parchment is heavily prepared animal skin that predates paper and possibly papyrus.

my hearthling can force a nugget of lead into being a belt buckle by hand. he can squish the reeds into paper.
