Brains are way too weak for tanning

Brains gives too few concentration for tanning fluid, and producing 1 barrel of tanning fluid requires way too much brains.
Comparing to bark, running tubs on brains would require pretty serious hunting operation, while collecting barks for 5 minutes that covers you for week

IMO brains should be specifically used for high quality leather production, not for bulk (or high q bulk)
just today, my plotmate made this tanning fluid, for example

the more you know... I had no idea brains can make tanning liquid.
tried 1 brain +1L, made 10% straight away,
tried 1 brain +10L, made 1%.
so 10 brains per bucket, 100 for a barrel.

I dont see a problem really, these things pile up, a lot.


Dunno if bigger brains add more %, they probably should. I wonder what logic went into this combination though.

i've always read that like 90+% of all mammals on earth have just enough tannins/whatever tanning material is in brains to tan their own hide so it's a little weird how you need like 50 squirrel brains to tan a couple squirrel hides BUT i do like how you save your best brains and best hides to make a bit of your best leather and study the lesser brains if you want.
