I already thought about adding 2 new versions that target only players. Maybe even make mass aggro only one version that works on players - not sure if there's need to mass aggro animals

Updated beta:
- added option (Options -> Combat) to highlight gobs in combat by adding rings near feet

please report if non-PvP aggro action does not aggro some animal it should. Preferably with res name included (can be seen when hovering with custom inspect cursor (eXtended -> Inspect))

Testing the recent changes.
One note, I would suggest instead of trying to give party members various colors, it may be better to have a single color for party members but a separate color just for the party leader:

Aggro works quite well. (Keybinding freedom and variation is perfect.) Will attempt to identify issues if they come up.
Name on minimap works well.
Ridgelines are great.

This is already getting much closer to PVP viable. Great work, Ender.

It already does that - there's 2 colors for party - leader and anyone else, but there's also separate color for self. By default self is not highlighted if party highlight is turned on.

Updated beta client:
  • improved openings display in combat info
  • added stance display to combat info
  • added setting to change how high combat info is displayed
  • fixed colors of rings for current target and just in combat being swapped
  • fixed kin names of party members on minimap being visible only while they are in vision range
