Performance and FPS Issue

there was a time when only few had access to custom clients ... thanks to all who stepped in (Pacho, Gilbertus, marvi, Ender ...) we're all on par now ...

besides the technical and buerocratic efforts it would take to exclude custom clients there's always a way to bypass that ... which brings us back to where only the choosen few have access ...

... and this had been discussed over and over and over ... resulting in having a wanted varity in custom clients and loftars ... the choice is ours

to get back on topic:
i recommend to check more than HnH and clients when it comes to instabilities ... progs and services running, faulty drivers ... or even dust in the fans ...

I know about this, and i know there is no solution, i'm only saying as an advice to play with the default client to appreciate more this game.

I'm not totally agree with this, maybe atm he doesn't want to bother finding an appropriate game design for all the stuff that could be added in the client...default client is well studied for the actual game design , customs are a totally game breaking experience for the lore of the game ( idk if you can understand what i mean cause my english).

I appreciate the words borka, but there are two main things to that point:

1. As far as I know, I have all the correct services running(or not running), and as far as programs & services running, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me on which ones to enable/disable or programs to kill or not kill.

2. I can absolutely promise there is no worry of dust in the fans. This one I know 100%

And that is honestly about the dirtiest she's been in quite some time, but I have a GTX 1060 on the way, so I'm just going to do a q-tip deep cleaning here in a little while

Use the default client guys...cheating with a custom client on this game it's a shame. If you want an easier game go play COD.

Lets hope you never give in and try one then, there is no going back once you do ...

I already played Salem with customs...and also H&H a bit, now that i'm back on Hafen I prefer to play the hardcore mode with the default client , learning, discovering and making mistakes is the fun...once you play only with the math involved there is no more fun to me.
The reason i suggest to play with the default is because the game design of HnH is so clever...try to think at the map for example, where the north is not the ingame north...it's a really clever choice of game design...with customs all these small details are lost, resulting in a game breaking experience.

Pretty much that.
Fun in this game (and pretty much all games) is on PROCESS of doing something.
Not getting it done.
You could just make game with button and when you press it, popup comes "you won the game"
Its not very fun.
But if we add in some monsters and add level that character must walk through, it becomes much more exciting.

There is difference between meaning process and tedium process. Doing some thing like manual sort all item by quality from box is not some things I think is fun, so I use client for doing it. If you are think this step is fun then go nuts.

If u like to waste time on unnecesary clicking noone stops you, use default client, why did u make your own client then?
Using toolbars is just making game less tedious like Ysh said.

Yeah, i'm agree with you...there are many things that could be improved in the default clients..however once you decide to use a custom client you don't stop only with usefull things but you start to use even "game breaking" and "cheating" features that he has...cause it's easier...then after some time you leave the game cause you are bored...in my mind only devs can improve or make a good client...cause it's their job, and their game....we need a better client but respectfull with the game design...hope you understand what i mean.
