and run it. There should be console window, most likely with some errors, since updater couldn't start it.

This did nothing but give me a larger error message. I created a .bat file with the line of text you told me to place in it and nothing happened.

Sounds like you might be having a similar issue as I had, the point of creating the .bat file was to see for example if the error it outputs lets you know something like this:

Code: Select all
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap

The cause of this for me was that I had a 32-bit Java version which is unable to properly allocate that amount of memory, so I had to update to 64-bit. I updated to the latest Java 8 64-bit version and after trying the updater again it successfully loaded the client. Hopefully that's all you may need to do to resolve the problem.

No, but I did get one for Squirrel one time so far.

Code: Select all
haven.Resource$LoadException: Weird version number on gfx/kritter/squirrel/icon (65535 > 1)
   at haven.Resource$Pool.load(Resource.java:540)
   at haven.Session$CachedRes$Ref.get(Session.java:137)
   at haven.Session$CachedRes$Ref.get(Session.java:130)

   at haven.Widget.tick(Widget.java:758)
   at haven.Widget.tick(Widget.java:758)

   at haven.Widget.tick(Widget.java:758)
   at haven.UI.tick(UI.java:214)
   at haven.JOGLPanel.run(JOGLPanel.java:527)
   at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Thank you so much. I only had 32-bit Java installed so once I installed 64-bit the client ran just fine and is working and letting me log in. Thank you so much.

When trying to log into an account that has no characters (hasn't been logged into since last world), I get this error:
Image

Error goes away if you log into the same account using the default client, make a character, close default client, and launch Ender client again. I'm running a slightly outdated version of your client so maybe you've fixed this already, but I didn't have the chance to test it on latest Ender client yet.

It'll probably happen on latest version too. The MappingClient is initialized on character selection, but when you don't have a character it goes into char creation and the MappingClient is not initialized, therefore crash.

Yeah that's what I figured, just wanted to throw that caveat in there just in case.

Hey Ender!

When I launch the client, nothing happens and the game doesn't start. Can you please advise if there is something to do to make it work?

Could you please implement when adding a marker to the map, so the name field for the marker is empty (and focused), not "New marker", like it is now. It is very annoying to delete it every time by hand, especially when you mark a lot of things.
This is low priority request.
