it is
press "arrow down" button in the top-right corner of your inventory
then drag whatever you want to autodrop i. the sidebar that appears

For some reason on steam version some features don't work.
Quality is not shown in object info (I have it enabled in settings but it just won't work)
Distance to NPC is not being shown (don't know if there's an option for that)
Both work on standalone client, but not on steam

It should remember the last position but I might have it overridden for non vanilla layout.
I'll check and if there's an issue I'll correct it.

I know. I'm currently working on changing steam launch behaviour so it doesn't get effed over by direct launch.

My next Question is: can i see the damage/health of objects? i only see visual - let's say - scratches, but i wanna know exact percentage.

Yeah that's also builtin. Check Out the Gob-Information in your general options.

Hey. After the update the inspect action crashes the client. There is also no support for the new wound system. Just letting you know in case you're still keeping the client up to date.

I'm working on the fix for the last update now asap.
