Ender Client

I using Ender beta. After last update, combat no longer work. May be i pressed something wrong? It seems like i cant press any shortcuts, only react on first click of battle.
Tested Loftar's client - it works fine, tested regular Ender's client - also works fine

I'd like to report 2 bugs for the global shortcut, Refill drinks.

1. If I try to refill drinks from a barrel with water, I get a red message saying I'm not near a water tile or barrel. I can't post links, but if you'd like a screenshot, it's at imgur dot com/a/m8JTK6S
2. If I try to refill drinks with an empty birchbark kuska, I get a red message saying I don't have any empty containers. Screenshot: imgur dot com/a/2Xqebl7

This happens for me both on the default and beta client (v07.10.2024 21:58). Sorry if this is already known. I tried searching on github and this thread and didn't see anything mentioning these.

Thanks for making this client! I'm a new player and this made it easier to get into the game.

anyone had issues with the critter auras? they appear but right clicking the rendered circle doesnt initiate chase. any other settings im missing to make this work? on Debian btw

also thank you for continuing to add features to the client Ender, I really appreciate your efforts to keep this client going!!

Thanks for making this client! I'm a new player and this made it easier to get into the game.

I've created 2 small PRs to address these, so it hopefully should need dev minimal effort to fix.

This evening when I launched the ender beta client it auto-updated.

Once I logged in, I found myself unable to drop anything.

I had previously turned on drop protection - some switch in the client that required control to be held down while clicking to drop an item, to avoid all too common accidental drop-on-misclick.

I was unable to find where that setting is currently controlled.

I was able to drop things with a freshly downloaded copy of the official client.

But when I went back to ender beta, no joy.

I tested to make sure the control key on my keyboard hadn't suddenly died, so that's not my problem.

New data:

I can drop items by holding both shift and control when I click

I cannot take e.g. 10 items from a stockpile by entering the number 10 and clicking take.

But in doing this I discovered that typing a number into the stockpile UI results in one item getting onto my cursor. Clicking "take" gets me another single item.

I suspect either a poorly tested UI improvement, or a merge from an official client version that's incompatible with some changes local to Ender. Probably the latter.

Neither bug is present with the regular ender client, which refreshed itself on launch (as usual) from a very old copy.

Using latest version, the old man in character creation is invisible, can't interact with him

Now I can't char select at all. No buttons
