That's an expected behavior.
You will need to either close the window or make it lose focus by clicking another window or just on the ground.


update: I can not choose "C"raft, "F"ood, "S"ausages. When I press S it opens the search menu instead. It is not in focus, it is closed.

Does it randomly stop when mining and then you can't continue or won't start at all? A screenshot plus the exact steps taken would help.

It won't start at all. I don't know what to show with screenshot, it will just shown a "green" selected area and my character ... ?
My steps:
  • press 3 (hotkey for mine)
  • hold shift and select an area bigger then 1x1
  • nothing happens
  • repeat it N times, nothing happens again
  • select an area 1x1-> it works
  • try again: sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't. Often the latter.
  • Change zone (like 10 tiles away) -> it works/not works randomly

My minimap went 'invisible' just like it was before the patch, after i used a crossroad. In case it matters, the crossroad was realitely near, enough that i could see animals in range.

To add a little to the to the autominer issue, a friend and I noticed yesterday that we would at times only be able to automine in 2 directions while the other 2 were impossible unless done in 1 tile increments.

If we tried to automine a straight line say North and East it would work, our characters would mine forward in said direction and everything was fine, but if we tried to start automining a line West or South the green marker would show but our characters would just stand and do nothing. Sometimes I could get this to reset and allow me to dig in the other directions by relogging but it mostly seemed random when the directions we were allowed to mine would change. I tried testing it on an open rock wall in an already mined out area, while still unable to get my character to mine in a West direction I tried starting another West>East line on the open rock, Instead of starting at the east end and going west it would do everything it could to path to the western end and mine it back towards the east.

Personally I'm really glad the auto dropper is back, love that thing.

Bugfix update.

Fixed:
  • Craft/build window issues: actions not being saved to history bar; list of actions not
    updating when discovering new items.
  • Auto-leveler.
  • Auto-miner not working under certain conditions.
Misc:
  • Updated Russian localization.

is there anywway to display diagnostic thing to the screen? i was getting 60fps in haven 2 days ago and now im getting half that.

stuff like the adapter being used etc etc?

Suggestion: Add a "Mine support" extension, which would be auto-miner but would work on all the safe areas of the support you select.
Also, an extension to auto-fill all the containers in your inventory with the nearest water source.
