InvaderDoom wrote:Just tried it, nothing. As a matter of fact, when I try to close the window, it won't work. Gets stuck open. However if I have more than one crafting tab open, the close button does work but only for that tab. My guess would be maybe something in the recent update for the issue of having too many crafting tabs open?

Update @ https://www.dropbox.com/s/4aad5kq4fe5wt ... -8.7z?dl=0

Changes:
(8)
8.1. Added option in Video to inrease flavor objs (a lot) (More Flavobjs)
8.2. Added option in Video to increase size of trees. 0-1 = default/no-scale. The larger they are the more you'll be able to clip into them tho.
8.3. Option to enable Cel Shading in Video
8.4. Added in ability for themes to define a Theme options menu in Options. Allows see data/theme/default/config.ini under [theme-opts] for details if you wish to know how to do your own
8.5. In general added in a generic widget definer for themes. This will be incorporated into select widgets as time goes on.
8.6. fixed bug with make window

iamahh wrote:1st run was ok, but i messed with a lot of configs and endup losing some interface, now I can't access options, neither with button or keys... maybe related to chat and map disappearance, not sure what i did lol

Sounds like maybe you dragged/edited your windows to be offscreen. Here's a download for default setting files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x65m2ulxgw0ed ... gs.7z?dl=0

window-props.ini in particular has the values of window positions (if defined). The location of a widget is (x%, y%, 0) where x,y is between 0 and 1. It represents how far over the widget is on your screen as a % of its width/height. You may have these beyond 1 or below 0 which is a problem. In any case if you replace your window-props with the default one it'll reset everything.

edit: forgot your item Q problem:

Awesome man! another Stellar update!
A couple of thoughts/ideas:
  • I've been asking/wondering about this for a long time. Is there a way to make it so when you mousewheel over the minimap you can zoom in?
  • Also would be nice to have tooltips over the icons on the minimap, as I'm not sure which icons do what.
  • Is there any possible way to have choices of Minimap shape? Like a square or circle? That would still be resizeable? I love circular minimaps, but didn't know if it was possible.
  • Last thing would be the ability to center map on the player, like I know you can move the map around, but I didn't know if there was some hotkey to center map back to player again.

Thanks for the quick update bro! I was losing my mind without the client. Once you get used to it, there's no going back! :D

I'll work on it

InvaderDoom wrote:Also would be nice to have tooltips over the icons on the minimap, as I'm not sure which icons do what.

They do, it shows "Res: res-name" when you mouse over the icon. Does it not show for you?

InvaderDoom wrote:Also, I really feel like having a round minimap instead of a square one would just be visually easier to navigate with.

This was planned for update 8 as part of the intro of Theme defined widgets, but I didn't it in last night. It'll be in tonight or tomorrow as a Theme option (currently you can see the option placeholder in Options -> Theme Settings)

Is this for the minimap? If so the Image btn above the minimap does that.

Well if you're referring to icons on the minimap, they do, I was more talking about the icons above the minimap, as addressed in my last point with the center map on player, I did not know that's what it did :P

One other thing I forgot to point out, maybe I'm just crazy or doing something wrong. When my sound gets all laggy and starts stuttering, Usually I would fix this with ":audiobuf 3000" however in this client I haven't noticed a difference in the audio buffering. I am just insane? I could be, I just never had this problem before :?

Open "run.bat" in notepad and change the -Xmx1024m to -Xmx2048m and see if that helps. If you're pretty much screwed or you need to close other stuff. Unfortunately there is a noticeable difference in memory usage between this and Default so that could be tipping you over. I'll need to go through and profile stuff and see where I can improve things to reduce usage.

Are you running 32bit or 64bit Java? I have to run 64-bit, or else H&H won't boot if I allocate more than 1048mb of RAM, try and uninstall Java 32 bit if you have it and download 64 bit offline.
