Been 4 years since i played so I may have forgotten a thing or two about custom client setup.
Ran the default client fine, but cant seem to run my extracted run.bat or hafen.jar successfully without the following occurring after I choose one of my existing characters.

You'll probably want to download the new updater, if you haven't already and start from there.

Hello hello!
I started to use Ender because it is the only one known stable client at this moment. It is definetely more handy than the classic client, BUT!
I experience weird lag(bug?) when both music and sounds lag insanely and constantly. This is driving me nuts cause I really want to stay on this client, and had no luck trying fix it via settings. Searching through this topic in order to find an answer also resulted in nothing.
Any advice how to fix that?

To run a "console command", start game, and click on the ground (so the cursor is not directed at an "input box" of chat)...

Then type :audoibuf 4096
Then hit enter.

If this dramatically helps, experiment with other values, 1024, 2048, 3072, 8192 (smaller number is better, goal is sound working well 80-90% of the time, with the smallest value)

That command fixed the issue ultimately.
Lower values still produce lags, higher are not yet tested. But I'm excited having this working.

Alternatively for audiobuf issues you could try installing Java 11 and removing all other java versions. May or may not work though.

This also fixed the issue for me as well.

I'm having problemas running this client for thr firts time. Hafen.jar doesn't start, and when I force it through run.bat i get this:

I welcome everyone, I had a problem that when I first started updater-hafen, I just instantly show an empty console window, then it disappears and nothing happens, I tried to reinstall Java
Java version jre-8u281
OS windows 10
Can you help with this problem, please?
