Enders ALT+A fullmap functions identically to the minimap and can be moved, while still showing hovered over tooltips correctly, might want to take a look there for a possibly easier solution.

Ardennes, pretty sure you are right about the mining/drinking macro just being a timing thing. Seems to work ok most of the time if the window is in focus but not if it's out of focus. possibly because the bghz is so low?

Sorry, to clarify, post was in reference to the minimap not the expanded map. I plan to look at it this weekend, just not sure how much effort I'm willing to put into it.

Entirely possible, I just turned bghz up to 60 or so because my computer doesn't need it to be 4 fps in the background. Can try that and see if it improves, otherwise not really sure what advice to give.

I found out part of it was when a piece of ore gets attached to the cursor (inventory full), it can't drink anymore. So I turned on the option to drop the ore. Now it always works when in focus. Out of focus I'm still investigating

I have a bug where 80% of the time when switching characters/accounts, the game is black when logging in. The hud works just fine but the world itself is just black. Using a GTX970.

Update: Realised I had x86 Java installed instead of the x64 version, seems to have fixed a bunch of issues for now. Although now I'm getting flashing black screens now and then with the message: "Waiting to resolve resource reference {some number}". This looks like an amber client thing and not Ardennes specific though so I'll post this issue somewhere else. Cheers

If you have "draw circle on ground around yourself" turned on, I think that causes this. It's on my list of things to look at tomorrow, think it's slowing down the gob class somehow leading to res load delays.

whatever is in my %appdata%/roaming/haven and hearth/data/

was what was causing ardens/amber to crash on loggin that I posted previously.

I have a backup but cannot use it without the crash, any ideas? is a shame to lose all the time I spent marking nodes etc on my map ingame.

Found a missing boulder type - apatite

edit: is there a way to switch between the cave map and the top level map? I know I can switch by hitting the homing button when I'm in a cave (to bring up the cave map) but what about viewing the cave map when I'm on top level? and maybe coordinating them, showing cave openings. pretty sure I remember a client doing that

It's possible that it's old world 10 data that's conflicting with new w11 data or something like that, I honestly can't really tell you. What gets populated in the %appdata% directory is loftar territory.

Adding apatite now, will be doing a decent sized patch this weekend. I'm not aware of any way to rotate between the levels easily on the world map, you can always place custom markers on Levels 1-5 and do it that way I suppose..
