Ender Client

Postby EnderWiggin » Mon Aug 31, 2015 11:26 pm

Installation:
Download launcher and run it. It will download all necessary files to folder where it is placed and then will run client.

Changes so far:
  • option to save minimap
  • option to always show kin names
  • option to hide flavor objects
  • changed title font to more readable one
  • mass transfer for inventories (CTRL+ALT+Click drops all similar items, SHIFT+ALT+Click transfers all similar items)
  • mass transfer for stockpiles (SHIFT+Click or CTRL+Click to put/remove single item, hold ALT to move all)
  • zoom in/out camera with numpad +/-
  • quick access for hand slots near portrait
  • increased chat font size and added timestamps to chat messages

Client sources can be found on GitHub. Launcher sources also on GitHub

Added beta launcher that will download experimental version of a client. May be more buggy than default version, but receives new features quicker. Use if you want to help me test new features.

Could you possibly get the options to lessen the visuals like Amber's client for lower end PC's in the future? Or does hide flavor objects count as that?

I can load the client, but get stuck at "Building Map..."

Edit: Moved my character into a cave, was able to load. Leaving the cave, I am unable to build the map.

How does your client handle instanced zones, like it does in salem?

Atm the amber one just shifts new tiles from caves or houses, i think, and it is a pain when merging. I'll likely use yours asap, but would like to know if it's safe to go inside houses/caves :)

well, resizable map for starters. Quick access slots for equipment. Maybe improved radar. Craft window as in my Salem client. Item filter like in Salem. Improved hot bar.

Ambers client or whatever it was didn't work at all. When loading on the vanilla client it shuffles when loading back and forth to several things and then builds the map.

On yours it shuffles through the previous stuff and then gets stuck on Building Map.

Edit:

When making a new character this is what I get:

EDIT 2: Now while loading onto the "overworld" I get this instead of "Building Map"

Looks to be in the folder of wherever you installed the client. In the "map" folder

You'll need one of the map viewing/editing tools that people use in the Salem community. There was a post made around the forums regarding a map tool, so just find that :)
