Funnily enough, I had it maxed out, but changing it to the lowest setting seems to have fixed the issue. Cheers!

As far as I've understood this thing;

A) sound stutters/lags: increase audio buffer. (Instead of hearing "example" you get something like "e-e-eXXX-sample".

B) delay/desync: reduce audio buffer. (You hear "example" correctly, but timing is wrong.)

Most people have historically had the problem A, and there have been posts advising people to directly just input :audiobuf 8192 which can cause the problem B.

Loftar insisted for the longest time that 1024 was more than sufficient value, since his system played sound fine with values as low as 128.

Lot of people found 2048 to be the sweet spot, or at least significant improvement.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Tells you how to try and escape, and make it less likely to die when caught.)

updated client:
  • merged loftar's changes
  • fixed flat cupboards
  • fixed mine supports not showing radius
  • do not warn about KO players (for some reason some dead players have knockout animation active, instead of dead)
  • added auto marking of amber and flint washes

will look into customizing sound for player/animal warnings and making hitbox color customizable when I find more time.

So fairly new to the game. Ender client was recommend. Tried it based on the instruction with the beta updater.
Given that Non-beta hasn't been updated since 2016? at least thats the impression i get. Idk i may be reading things incorrectly :?

Anyhow it did work. Ran fine, played for a bit, i def need to do some research on the -re-keybinding factors (as thats the main reason i got it)
Tried to start today. got this error

java.lang.RuntimeException: Did not get GL environment even after display
at haven.JOGLPanel.renderloop(JOGLPanel.java:336)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:750)

Running on Mac Os if that matters.

Please fix timers, reproduce by:
1. Set any timer
2. Close and reopen client
3. See message

Is there a quick reference on common operations for ender client? I've found that the client is deleting all mined stone (or maybe that's an update to the game?) and can not find an option to turn it off
