Using Salem Map Tool and cant Export 23700X35400 Map.

I am trying to export a merged map I created thats 23700x35400 and I am getting a Error that states "Session "Merge 2015-09-24 04.31.06' Whole map can not be saved: Parameter is not valid.

Anybody know a program/way I can export this merged map file so I can have the png/jpg of the map on my computer.

That's the programs limitation doesn't matter how much ram you have it seems. I sort of crapily got around it by croping it and exporting those jpgs. You can export the map files no problem though.

Not true. Unless the program uses some hardcore c++ libraries (or analogue) to save map in to bmp line by line, it is a matter of RAM how big images can be generated by your system.

I have 16GB RAM the resulting jpg is like 40 mb max. I don't know what crazy processing it does but it would just use swap if it ran out of ram. It's a program limitation.

Clearly has never opened a 40MB map file in paint.

Ya I have 16 gigs of ram too sucks I cant export this huge map into a PNG/JPeg ((
