There's a lot of bootlegs running around.

As well as Ard client became somewhat legendary by now.

Default UI isn't simplistic or customizable in any form, it's absolutely atrocious. That's why this client is still reigning supreme.

Kinda wished I had a copy of this client. Using the purus pasta client and my main gripe with that one is the UI. It's pretty much based off the default client and I don't like squinting at tiny icons when trying to navigate through crafting/building.

I've been using https://github.com/Cediner/ArdClient/releases and it works well. Hopefully it's ok to post the link.

I make no claims to security or privacy though, i found it by checking forks on github.

Client got broken after using "Remove icon from map" tool to hide toads from map. Now I had to redownload whole Client. That means this feature doesnt work.

I haven't experienced that problem, but again it's not my project so I make no claims as to its stability. I just know that so far it works for me. There is a issue report area on the github if you want to submit there, it seems they are fairly active at replying.

So I tried it and it's working, however how do I change positions for Num Keypads, or F keypads(they all are in top left corner getting on top of each other. Drag-n-drop doesn't work)?

You have to make sure the unlock is checked, mouse over the numpads to see that and the rotation widget. Then Ctrl + Right mouse click should move them.

Mmm, it's tricky, because I never worked with executables and/or script files on mac.
So what does RunMe.bat contains?
Code: Select all
java -Xmx1024m -jar hafen-updater.jar update https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Cediner/ArdClient/Unstable/update/ -Djava.util.logging.config.file=logging.properties
start javaw -Xss2048k -Xms256m -Xmx2G -jar build/hafen.jar -U https://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/ game.havenandhearth.com

Let's see what run.sh(shell script contains):
Code: Select all
#!/bin/bash
java -Xmx1024m -jar hafen-updater.jar update https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Cediner/ArdClient/Unstable/update/ -Djava.util.logging.config.file=logging.properties
java -Xss2048k -Xms256m -Xmx2G -jar build/hafen.jar -U https://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/ game.havenandhearth.com
pause

The entire idea of those scripts is just pasting needed commands in the command line. And it looks pretty same, right? What you will need to do is to individually copy+paste last 3 lines of run.sh in your terminal to verify that they work. If everything is well, all you need to do is run run.sh
Here is an answer how to run it https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/235128/how-do-i-run-a-sh-or-command-file-in-terminal, if tho it doesn't work I can try finding alternatives of those java commands for mac, however most likely it should work:)

Also, the .sh might not work from the beginning because you might need to give it permission to run, so in terminal you should be present in the folder with run.sh and type
Code: Select all
chmod +x run.sh

Let me know if you have any questions or if you're stuck somewhere.
