It may have other uses, but the one I know (and use) is to make sure you plant trees at the very center of a tile. (It helps in making neat rows)

Seems not to logical to me that it would only be intended for planting trees/bushes. (I use ender, which also allows planting them neatly at the tile center)

*Fires up default render client to check something, but gets stopped by res-error number xxx* (wow, again. Its a nice client fubar situation now a days)

Actually. "Toggle tile centering" is not doing anything when it comes to planting(moving) bushes.

(real planting only or trees only ... makes even less sense to me. Occam thinks its probably just out of commission after Murphy took a look at it.)

I don't know what you're talking about, bushes and trees are being planted perfectly center for me

Guess its specific to a particular build than. ... Or your probably using SHIFT+RMC to plant trees/bushes (which works fine on all clients I could test it on).

Guess you also missed/skipped the part where I specified that I actually was looking for a way to tile-center the heartling itself (for tree copping purposes).

Retested with default build (the linked one in post nr 1) ... same results / no differences detected.
