that is the idea

this thing where people are pushing all their points into one guy is a horrible mechanic for a permadeath game - when they eventually bite it, players get all whiny and quitter

If Raeph puts in 24 hours of grinding and I put in 24 hours of grinding, I will gain on Raeph.

This is honestly all i was trying to say.
You will always get closer and closer provided you put in the same time as people stronger then you. Because it is literally harder and harder for us to get stronger.
While its certainly true that you will never pass us if we put in the same effort, its also true that if your close to us, you can kill us in the right circumstances, and that you can team up with others, ambush us when were in a swamp ect ect.. I assure you, its not nearly as impossible as you might think.
and yea.. its difficult to get higher then 95% dodge. it levels off around there. [its not a cap, its just like a 1/x relation: loftar told me]

Oh that sounds great! just summoning someone offline when they cannot defend themselfs at all, another broken mechanic.
You say put walls around it? The strongest people tear walls down in seconds so there's that gone.

Even more fun: You won't be able to hurt the offline players becaues their combat is so much higher than yours.

Yes you will, read up on special attack moves and the logarithmic power scale.
