Change vs Tradition Death Mechanic Misleading

The 25% vs 75% figures stated for the amount of learning points kept is completely misleading.

The amount of LP spent on skills that is retained upon death is 6.25%, for a full change character.
The amount of LP spent on skills that is retained upon death is 56.25% for a full tradition character.

Tradition characters keep 9 times more LP on death.

My question to Jorb and Loftar: Was this intetional?

(I am aware that skills like murder and rage are refunded at the proper value, but their weight in the total LP gain over the course of a character's lifetime is minimal.)

+
EDIT: To clarify, skills have increasing costs. 100 +200 + 300 + 400 + 500...etc. By keeping the bottom 1/4 of this series, you are keeping 1/16 of the overall LP spent.
I like to air dribble.

It is indeed misleading. Is that your only point or do you seriously suggest tradition should be nerfed? It sucks enough as it is.

I think someone else mentioned something similar.

A suggested made probably is to retain the % of the LP spent on the skill rather than the numerical value.

If you read the fine print you'll notice that it say you keep 25-75% of your skill values, not LP. It's your own fault if you misinterpret it.

I had a character die and it lost all of it's skills and stats. Is there something you have to do to retain your abilities?

Does that mean the above is not true?

No, you will have to rightclick the runestone in the character creation room to inherit the stats of your deceased char.
