You can always check your character page on the forum and see if your lp went up.

Not sure if you would be able to see past character profiles since the devs don't keep back ups of past worlds. Unless of course all that "we don't keep back ups" thing was just a joke :)

Also a similar idea, but make there be a sound effect in the game for when one of your studies completes. Sometimes you'll miss the LP flash and it's annoying to keep checking it every so often.
