as in just have the platform as a larger form of Xroads that would port you to the next layer.
that does seem better than having to load the platform>go downstairs/ladder> pull it down.

as for the loading limitations, would you not agree that the best way to do it, would be make a platform that has no set space, so you can position as much as you can onto it, the ideal size would be |

so that the broken line =half a wagon length, and the unbroken =a full wagon length and you just play pile on with your gear :mrgreen:

Realism is only frowned upon when it interferes with gameplay, which is what would happen in this case.
