Forest Settlements, Animal Spawns

If animal spawns are based on the frequency of players visiting an area, aren't the forest settlements rendering the local boar and deer population endangered or even extinct? Do I have to go out into frontier rings with 40-50 weapon skill to find them?

I've seen a couple of boars, never seen a deer, though. And this is in a heavily deforested area just south of Bottleneck.

i think they are. Most the early ring forests are pretty scarce.. its rare to find more then one boar or deer... Some of the middle range ones have small game populations when i hunt them.. usually a single bear a couple boars, some foxes, a deer or two.. But once you get into the near mordor range [or in mordor itself, although i dont hunt there], theres lots of bears, boars, deers, what-ever-you-want... but yea.. you need 50+ marksmenship for the near-mordor rings to hit with any accuracy.
