Back slot for shields

Having the shield being equipped to your back means you can't use it right away in combat (meaning it's just being stored), unless there's a button that swaps your left and right equipment slots with them.

This means the back slots is actually two slots, for the left and right hand.

Otherwise, It can stay as a single slot, and can be swapped with the left hand with a touch of the button, but the right hand wouldn't swap, enabling you to swap items in different combinations.

Just because its a possible additional feature, doesn't mean you need a definite negative effect from using it.

Yes please. Perhaps not cloak slot though, I think switching it to gloves slot instead of hand slot is better and doesn't make much of a difference.

nha you use the glove slot for unarmed and the knuckles.

I was just thinking of a shield where the cloak goes, ( hirdsmen, second part of bear cape, ect ). I like the idea of the sword on the belt too, which is otherwise a useless slot.

EDIT: With exception to my braggin belt, a ridiculous high quality poor mans belt. More like a rich mans belt.

inventory packing needs some better options

i can't carry a shield anywhere (one of the reasons i went ua...) because they take up so much damn space when i've already got a battleaxe and sometimes a sledge WITH The axe, in addition to two travsacks and a sword. it'd be nicer to have a sheath for your sword on your belt slot, or to be able to put a battleaxe on your back, or on a special slot. i can't part with my cape slot though...
