Personal beliefs

Postby Woot » Fri Apr 29, 2011 5:05 am

Not sure if this is an old woe or not, I was wondering as to the reason behind not allowing the Change/tradition slider on your personal beliefs remain with your descendants, all the other beliefs seem to remain, and I was curious as to why that would be.

Very inconvenient Especially with the new system, because now I must fight the urge to load my best stuff to get going again, as it would be a waste until I get back up again.

When starting a new world or a new character you can repeatedly kill them to increase your stats. Allowing change to 'stay' would simply make it overkill for starting off.
When dying at full trad it's best to not the character go straight back into battle and only risk 25%, they risk 50% the second time if they choose to.
After dying you shouldn't be right back at your max, it's a new character, it should take you a little bit of time to get there.

At the beginning of W5 people could discover shit, suicide, reincarnate, and then discover the same shit. Even with the LP loss from dying they were still coming out on top. Then, once they got enough to buy a claim, the LP loss from dying was less or null because LP stored in claims isn't subject to being lost upon death.

It was fixed by making it so descendants can't get discovery LP from the same shit their ancestors already discovered.
