Masks?

I'd suggest a system that hides your name/identity (clicking on the chat button counts - and i hope we will see names over players, atleast the ones in your kin, soon) from others using a skill/item (that is very expensive of course). Players could be demasked once they're knocked out (or killed). I know you could just create another character for such actions, but you'd have to invest a lot of time to get a usable fighter and i doubt many people will do that. I don't want to become a bandit or anything, but i wouldn't mind more freedom and it would allow - once we have actual trading - jobs like guards.

While I think there'd be a greater need for false identities than merely hiding someone's true identity (someone with no name is going to be at least as, if not more, suspicious than someone with an unknown name) I do like this idea of implementing both, though, with this intended as a cheaper and easier alternative. I like the possibilities, such as bands of masked raiders attacking a place, but if one is caught then they can use his identity to help find the others.

What we need is tameable and trainable animals to keep the likes of you out, Shocked. ;)

That said, more possibilities are always welcome.

Nope. It makes sense.
would be fun if you can't see a persons name till they introduce themselves. Typing your name in chat triggers this for everyone on the screen.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
