A kula is a kind of tent? I don't get it...

Man, I shouldn't have to explain this because it was stated in the thread I linked, but kula is that hidden boulder-mound that you can store objects in.

Hiding yourself is only half of the old stealth gameplay. The other half was hiding belongings.

I figured it was some sort of sarcasm, which is a really bad idea on an ideas forum with many people of different languages, so I wanted to be absolutely clear.

Just thought to bump up this good idea.

This would give a slight chance for young players to survive first encounters with agressive experienced player.

Also it would make the game a bit more realistic, because in real world if you are chased by a person much stronger than you - the best way to survive is hiding. :)
Victory needs no explanation. Defeat allows none.

Depends, if Stealth*INT matters, time of day when you attack an enemy will matter a lot, and things will become a lot more fun.

Rangers would get a HUGE boost on this. Necro cloak should give a boost to hiding. As well as other 'black' gear.

Well, the influence of clothes is more ore less acceptable. stealth souldnt affect sneaking.. let us call the stealth stat to be "the abilithy to hide your tracks".

An excellent idea to restore hiding capabilities, taken away by cheat-clients. also brings use to torches.
we r gonna run from tree to tree towards... somthing. again!^^

btw day shadows should be 1-1,5 tiles.

+1. would be great if added someday.
