That and breeding similar to chicken coops and there is your quality raising system!!

Considering that cheese is much better than rat-on-a-stick, there isn't much incentive to raising the quality of a rat.

In addition to the game aspects, rats don't even like cheese that much. If you're going to have rat fodder, it should be any food items other than leaves. They're pretty indiscriminate eaters.

Of course, this is just an idea for when or if ever other uses are introduced.

If it were up to me I'd go with the cheese.

High q rats are basically useless so even normal fodder isn't really worth giving to them.
Making them require expensive fodder would add to the novelty / humor of having a high q rat.

You need better quality rats so that they can run your rat maze faster, duh! Besides, if you're making Rat on a Stick as a variety food, better to make it as close to 0 quality as possible.

I want rabbit hutches before anything like this.

Ditto. Jeebus want better q bunny slippers.
Kurundo wrote:Perhaps both could be implemented simultaneously, same with rats and pens for said rats. Not sure what you'd need better quality rats for but a friend of mine is in love with the things and has a birch basket full of them.

Duh!! Better q Rats on a Stick!! By god, you know what? Because of this thread, before W5 ends, I want to grow a tree to high enough q to allow me to make q100+ Rats on a Stick and see if I can sell them on Apples & Oranges. Maybe I can get a blueberry for them.

I'm all for giving toads, ladybugs, and dragonflies q's. Might make the chase (and the ladybugs' "going-through-walls-physics-breaking" chases) more exciting.

Maybe you can try making a q1 rat on a stick and see what it goes for. After all, don't people eat this just for the variety bonus and not the .1 Psy FEP?
