hey i know it's a strange concept, but sometimes two people in the same household both want to play.
Damn, why didn't I think of that?
There's also the issue of tracking IPs. In a world of IPv5 (v5 is current version, right?) and DHCP, the only computers with a static IP address are ISPs and major industries with dedicated network services. After all, IPv5 and previous is only a 32 bit address. Without DHCP, we'd have ran out of IP addresses a decade ago. Then, going past that, there's the issue of some players being able to access a couple dozen different IP addresses simultaneously. Why should a handful have an advantage that most players don't. As loftar or Jorb one pointed out in another thread, if a few people are going to be able to hax client, all should be allowed to do so. Same with multiple accounts.
Besides, this isn't Travian or oGame or one of dozens of other web based games where having multiple accounts can give a player massive advantages over everyone else.
