Be realistic ccoq, since when is dropping a feather into water off of a boat louder then a cow moo-ing, or someone cutting down a tree?

I agree with the OP, that water dropping sound has brought my ears to hell and wasn't even kind enough to bring them back. For some reason it has always been absurdly loud compared to everything else.

Okay this topic maibe is a little bit...weird...

But with all the mod we have around, can't we simply change the sound by ourselfes? And maibe have a little difference between a tree that fall and a ram that smash your wall? XD

If you really want to know, the loudness of the sound by default is actually on a audible level, but when you stop dropping multiple items, what the system does is 'overlap' the last sound, with a new sound for the new item, which is louder (to make it audible).

Drop 10 items and one after another the sound gets louder and louder and louder.

That and it's most likely the sound file themselves, so with a bit of archiving you can find that sound file and replace it with a softer one.

Hnh is a java based client so yeah, the sound files would be stored on the client side somewhere in the user/appdata/roaming/ or appdata/local/ folders.
