Great suggestion! We can always hope they put this into the game when W7 arrives :D

I foresee unmentionable consequences...

Silver & Golden dyes for donors

Getting the new objects in the game should be easy, either making recolors of older sprites, or introducing grayscaled versions of items that then get their RGB values altered (Like when an object decays, it turns red).

This would also mean that freshly made merch robes would be using the silk's coloration, and certain items like the Cylinder hat or ranger boots would require ink it's making.

i have no idea what im talking about i never did java

I doubt the images would need to be grayscaled, the decay over filter works fine for red.

Yes, for damaged objects that keep their original color, but using that would make most objects' coloration mismatch (Like Linen Pants and Merch Robes) or mix with the previous one (Yellow dye being used in a carpet would turn it orange)

Does it matter THAT much?

Yes? If you're going to implement something it should actually you know, make sense? Would you rather the dye randomly appear out of a tamed pig's asshole?

Yes?
