Locking your own thread

You should be able to lock your own thread.
If it's used wrong (no idea how), moderators can always unlock.

Let's see what others think - it's no prob to ask a Mod for locking - to be honest in my opinion a better way than having loads of ppl locking threads and Mods have to check ...

Might be, but I thought it could be very useful for traders. They can lock threads when they go inactive for a while and unlock when they come back.

Your asking for something that's completely inappropriate/overkill to fix something that has no direct need.

Traders(when there the OP of a topic) can put a adding special tag to the title, like [CLOSED]. And if needed add some note to the first post like "<some date>: CLOSED (until future notice)"

Considering this forum (h)as only the bare minimal forum features. ... I suggest focusing on way more general useful forum features. Like: Spoiler, Strike, Quote back links, etc.
