Trespass and Public Roads

To reduce the aggravation caused by large claims, how about a simple change - it's not trespass to walk on paved roads, paths, etc.?

Either that, or the ability to grant general trespass permission, _without_ theft and vandalism permission. But the road thing seems better, because one could tell when people were out of place and so probably up to no good.

Uhm..bad idea. It would mean you're allowed to trespass on people's property.
It would be nice to have the option to allow trespass to happen but not theft and alike. Same thing for idols, banners and statues.

How about you turn crimes on and walk through anyway. If you don't take anything noone is going to come for you.

It'd be nice if this was implemented. Here's my take on it:

|--------|X|-----|
|--------|X|-----|
|--------|X|-----|
|--------|X|-----|
|--------|X|-----|
|--------|X|-----|

The boxes are claimed, and the X's are road. This would give use to houses, cause that way you can't just let your crap lie about on the 'sidewalk'.

You'd be surprised, actually. I had someone track a trespassing clue to my Hearthfire and then asked it it was mine. Granted I had stumbled on to his private property, but apparently there are some people who do take trespassing as srs enough business to hike across Bottleneck. Doubt it'd happen with a public roadway, though.

That said, I noticed back in the day in Bottleneck (shortly after the ranging update to... well, when I moved out) that stinky trespass footprints wound up everywhere. I wouldn't mind having the spam cut down on myself.
