Consider making it some baked goods, farmers don't get enough lovin' as it is. In fact, I think it's best to keep some stats dependant on farming (like con) and some dependant on hunting (like str) to encourage trade. That, or make it depend on both (meat pie, anyone?).

Are you trying to say hunting is much better than farming? I have to disagree strongly.
Bear meat is the rarest good in the game and sausages give much more energy so you can eat fewer of them.
Once you got your farm done you don't have to spend time on that while hunters have to walk for a long time usually.

Would be nice to have some slow more valuable crop though.

I'm just saying, if farming loses it's one strong point - con gain - you may as well abolish it. Just look at agility - does anyone actually bother with honey buns when sausages are vastly superior in every respect?

Ya..
I know it's just one fep (why the fuck 1 and not 2??) but it's a waste to eat a deer dog if you only need say 5 more FEP. Plus it has happened many times before i didn't get AGI for a deer dog diet.

If I had to guess I'd say cheese making, and fermentation will come before more bakeables.
I wouldn't be at all upset by that either.

Using the cauldron for stew's rather than just tea would be good also. Add whatever you want to build some sort of algorithmically determined stat gain (secret recipe's anyone?)

I thought it was a feature that stat increases became increasingly difficult to achieve over time (to lessen the difference between, say a newbie having played a few weeks and the demigod jolly green giants, walking the earth, with axes)

I agree that the stats boosts should not come strictly linearly, but some better foodstuffs are clearly in order. -- But I love doing food anyway. :)

i like to hear that, cause im a food fetishist (spelled correctly???)
i dont feel the need for any const food though, at least i mainly ate cow chorizo when i was new, pushing my const to 40 while everything else way <20... it didnt know bout the Fep...
and you can get heaps of cows...

/edit
am i missing something? cows give loads of con, dont they?

I used to make a lot of honey buns when I was too low skill to hunt foxes. It's also one of the ones you can make without butter
