Ground Beef

Postby Gotrek64 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 1:59 am

I've too much spare beef after slaughtering older generations of cows and bulls and then making cow chorizos. So I am suggesting you be able to use a grinder(metal or ceramic) to grind up spare beef into Ground beef.
Ground beef could then be used into other recipes like maybe Tacos  (flour+water), Enchiladas etc etc of course all recipes using beef would have to give CON FEPs

Flaws:
lots of coding?
needs new art

It would have proven your point much better and also proven you really do understand how to fight people and not only how to slaughter helpless sheep.

there should be some caseless sausage. i'm sure there are some that fit the setting. there's a really great romanian one called mititei and i'm sure there are analogues from all over europe.

How about we construct the ultimate haven-burger, using many types of cheese, as well as toppings, and grilled in an oven for a perfect amount of time.

I don't think there'd be much meaning in adding more food items other than for novelty since there's already a pretty good variety as far as FEP sources go (excluding allowing high stat players to grind stats faster, but I don't think that has meaning either). I do like additional novelties since they give us more to do and a few more choices to make, but it would be nice if there was more to it. For example, debuffs if you don't have a balanced diet.

There is no need to fit the setting, "cow chorizo" don't even exists and "chorizo" isn't very slavic :S

It's not so much about adding more FEP sources as it is about giving use to some less useful ingredients. Some other things which need more recipes are chants, hazelnuts and eggs.

Oh, and another thing that needs more use is carrots. Carrot cake sucks when you have good sheep and pigs, there's far better uses for peas than spring stew, and catching perch is too erratic to make perched perch a reliable use for carrots.
