Looks like the game died.

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Looks like the game died.

Postby MikeySix » Sun May 29, 2011 2:26 am

Guess nobody believed me when I said curios would kill the game.

My face when 77 people online.

And don't even try to put it off as "oh the only people that left were botters" So you're trying to say 90% of your player base was botters? Nice going.

All people do anymore is farm curios. The game's soul has died. Go ahead and ban me for saying it, I know you want to, powerhungry mods. It's not like I'm going to be playing this anymore anyway.

Such a shame, this game was very addicting.

Oh. Kinda funny how I randomly check and it just so happened to come up right before I check, right?

Most people I've seen on lately was 300. Before world 5, it averaged 700 people at all times, 1300 at peak hours.

that's the normal rate of attrition when there arn't frequent updates. On the other note, your right, it is odd coincidence, but it is true none the less. Look at the frontpage now.

Sorry but if W4 was your cup of tea you suck.

Popular != Good
W4 was shit.

Keep telling yourself that. You're like the guys that bought a lifetime subscription to Star Trek online (which now costs 3 dollars and is free to play) defending the game saying it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Losing 60-70% of your player base speaks for itself. Popular isn't always good, true, but when you lose that many players, it's a clear sign something is wrong.

We are in fact doing no more than replying to your origional statement that the server is dead. It is far from it, sad to see there are still hundreds of abandoned claims out there though

Wrong, that's not at all what's happening
1)It's good
2)W3 was fucking awesome.
3)W4 was a premature abomination shitstain that only existed with rushed out mechanics because W3 had to end early due to dupe bug
4)W5 was logical progression we all waited for, W4 might as well have been W3.5

The age of curiosity is upon us!

Also opinions. 700 people can't be wrong. You and the (187) others seem to have the wrong one.
